It is advisable to come to a consultation with a dermatologist without makeup or with means to wash it off completely. If you are coming for a hair or scalp consultation, avoid using styling products on the day of your appointment. If you have nail problems, make sure they are visible (no polish or hybrids). Also remember to write down the names of any medications or cosmetics you are taking, as well as any questions you want to ask during your visit.
